Board Member

The OWC Board consists of eleven (11) members.  Board members meet monthly to discuss and vote on matters to be considered by OWC, including administrative matters.  The Board will consider action on issues brought forward by members and OWC committees.

Supporting Organization

The OWC invites supporting organizations to join that provide direct support services to women’s economic development in Ohio or that support our mission. The OWC will strengthen the outreach and voice of supporting organization members.  The OWC will promote the organization through the OWC network across Ohio. Supporting Organizations will:

  • Have an opportunity for (2) two representatives to participate on OWC committees.
  • Bring issues impacting your members to the Board for consideration of action.
  • Participate in regular OWC roundtable advocacy meetings with policymakers – up to (2) two representatives.
  • Provide opportunities for your members to voice their opinions through surveys on issues administered by the OWC.
  • Provide opportunities for your members to participate in coalition-wide, grassroots advocacy to help influence change.
  • Organization name, logo and organization website link on OWC website.

Business Owner

This level is for business owners across Ohio who want to amplify their voice and support our mission.  Business owners will:

  • Have an opportunity to participate on OWC committees.
  • Have the opportunity to participate in OWC roundtable advocacy meetings with policymakers.
  • Bring issues impacting your business to the Board for consideration of action.
  • Voice your opinion through surveys on issues administered by the OWC.
  • Participate in coalition-wide, grassroots advocacy to influence change.

Member at-large

This level is for the individual woman or man who wants to support the mission of the OWC and help remove barriers for women’s economic well-being.  Members at-large will:

  • Have the opportunity to participate on OWC committees.
  • Have the opportunity to participate in special roundtable advocacy meetings with policymakers.
  • Bring issues affecting the economic well-being of women to the Board for consideration of action.
  • Voice your opinion through surveys on issues administered by the OWC.
  • Participate in coalition-wide, grassroots advocacy to influence change.
